Rock Solid Design and Construction built our house in the Hunter Valley. It was a pleasure working with Steve Phillips from the turning of the first sod in February 2010 to completion of the house in late 2011 and during the subsequent landscaping of the house block. He was clearly committed to delivering a quality product, and insisted on work of the highest standard from his tradesmen. It was easy to discuss with Steve how to resolve various issues which arose as the construction progressed and his suggestions were always considered, sympathetic with the overall design of the house and effective.

Renovations and Additions
Having no idea about building / renovations, or what we were in for, we met with Steve, told him roughly what we wanted and he came up with a design that was perfect for us.
He listened, asked us questions that we would never have thought of, took the time to explain things, and used his expertise to help us make decisions that would suit our lifestyle.
From our first meeting with Steve, we realised he was the builder we could trust to help turn our dreams into our dream home.
Steve’s down to earth nature, friendly and professional approach meant that he was extremely easy to deal with.
We also loved the fact that we could have as much or as little involvement as we wanted.
Living in a house that is being renovated had the potential of being our worst nightmare, however, Steve and the team did everything possible to minimise the disruption to our family.
We are extremely happy with the end product and are forever getting compliments for the amazing work the builders have done.
